Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections

Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections, often referred to as Pest or Termite Inspections, are critical as damaged wood can potentially affect the safety and stability of the home, and repairs can be costly. The presence of these pests can also be challenging to observe, as you typically see the damage before you see the pests. We are certified to identify the signs of pest presence so that we can help you properly treat for these unwelcome house guests.
Wood-destroying insects include carpenter bees, carpenter ants, powder post beetles, and termites. Termites and carpenter ants are two of the most common pests of this type in New Jersey. They can enter your home through tiny cracks in the foundation, roof, windows, and other areas. Because these insects like warm, humid environments, they typically live inside the wood. Thus, their presence is only often known to homeowners once the damage reaches the wood's exterior portion.
